Through the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition pivoted, shifted and flexed to ensure that youth would not be left behind. Similarly, our candidates showcased a great deal of resilience, flexibility, trust and courage to persevere with the programme. Among the 206,000 applicants, Jordan Topoleski, a university student and tech consultant from the USA stood out and impressed our jury to become the one to shadow the Adecco Group’s Global CEO, Alain Dehaze.

Sophia Lim, Hong Kong & Global CEO for One Month 2019
With 260,000 candidates, 2019 was in many aspects the most competitive instalment of ‘CEO for One Month’ yet. Among all this wonderful talent, 46 Country CEOs were selected to shadow their respective country managers and the top 10 from the group advanced to a 3-day global bootcamp, which took place in Düsseldorf, Germany. Hong Kong’s Sophia Lim, an analyst and self-described “eager business student” emerged as the Global CEO and spent a month shadowing our Global CEO, Alain Dehaze.
